Planning Board - Jun 22, 2026
The Oakland Roots and Soul Sports Club is proposing to set up an interim venue at their Harbor Bay headquarters to host about 24 professional soccer matches a year with up to 8,000 fans. Residents are worried about major traffic jams, noise, and safety during emergencies since Bay Farm Island has limited evacuation routes. Business groups support the plan, saying it will bring vital economic energy to the area.
